Government of India will pay 24% in EPF for companies with less than 100 Employees for next 90 Days

Government of India will pay the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) contribution, both of employer and employee put together it will be 24 %
This will be for next 90 Days
This is for those establishments which have upto 100 employees and 90 per cent of them get less that 15,000
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on 26^th March 2020

–Non Refundable EPF Withdrawal allowed upto 75% of their balance or 3 months’ wages, whichever is low) (4.8 Crore workers will get benefit)

–Construction Workers – Instruction to State Governments for using Labour Welfare Fund which has Rs. 30K Crore (Benefit will flow to 3.5 Crore registered workers)

–District Mineral Funds – Request to State Government to use District Mineral Funds
