Inspector is appointed by Appropriate Government by notification in Official Gazette. The purpose of such inspection is to ascertain whether the provisions of POBA have been complied with or not.
- The powers of Inspector are as under:
- Demand Information
- Check books of account, register, documents, etc
- Check employer, agent, servant, etc.
- Make copies of Books (Such making of copies of books shall not be applicable for banking companies.)
- Any other purpose as may be prescribed.
